Vanderbilt Children's Hospital is preparing for a visit from a very special guest.
First Lady Melania Trump will make a visit to Nashville Tuesday for a special event at the children's hospital.
The event is part of the First Lady's "Be Best" Campaign. According to the White House, she will participate in a roundtable discussion about Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and tour a neonatal intensive care unit. She will also meet with some patients.
Mrs. Trump unveiled the initiative at the White House in May and said it will focus on childhood well-being, social media use and opioid abuse.
Officials at the hospital told News 2 that the event will be closed to everyone except national media.
The First Lady's visit to Nashville comes after Vice President Mike Pence spent part of the weekend in parts of East Tennessee.
